What Users Love About the App
“I have always preferred an online planner to a paper one and then I found playbook. At last an app/software that works, obviously developed by a teacher and does everything a teacher needs. Well done developers, your efforts are greatly appreciated!”
“Excellent application for planning and executing home school. Easy lesson planning and easy to change and update on the fly. Plenty of options for notes and comments. Several advanced features that I have not used yet as my 5-year-old does not have a need for the advanced opportunities this app offers. Easy account set up with global login allows both parents to access and ability to update in real-time.”
“I have been using this site/app for years and I absolutely love it. It is very well designed and flexible for unique schedules. I share my plans with links for high school students and it is an amazing tool to help them keep organized and informed. I use the phone app for quick checks during my instruction and the website for building my plans. HIGHLY recommended.”
“The best online playbook available. You can tell that this one was developed by either a teacher or someone who has actually talked to a teacher and listened to know what teachers really need. You won’t find one better than this.”
“It helps me and my teachers with my grades. It is very organized and I can see my grade at all times no matter what time it is!”
What Users Dislike About the App
“I love Planbook but when I move my lessons from one year to the next it misses days and I’m not sure where those lesson plans go.”
“How do you copy from other teachers? I can’t seem to figure it out which means not user-friendly.”
“Trying to set up classes for one day weekly, can make the edit but the schedule doesn’t update. Waste of time with this app.”
“I just downloaded the app. It will not open up. I click on the app and it tries to open, then closes.”
“I like the convenience of having my plans on my phone so I can quickly refer back to my notes about page numbers or something during class. But if I have to stop and sign in every other time it defeats the purpose and I might as well walk over to my computer. There should be a way for it to stay signed in or at least use Face ID.”
