What Users Love About the App
“PebbleGo has a wide variety of information resources geared to the youngest learners. With brightly colored pages of text and photos, students are drawn to topics that interest them such as animals and space.”
“Pebblego is the best non-fiction resource that I have seen for students in grades K – 3. It is user friendly, easy to navigate, and it gives students the option of having everything read to them. Pebble Go is a must have for literacy and research.”
“It includes non-fiction text features, videos, and pronunciations. It also has games that the students can play which reinforce what they learned from their reading. I think every K-3 student needs this resource in order to research Life science, Earth & Space, Biographies, and Social Studies.”
“I love the fact that it reads to them and highlights the words, has tabbed content areas, and a video. It’s been a long time since I had kids stopping me to tell me the exciting things they were learning about something. Great product!”
“I love Pebble Go. It has many uses for the classroom and library from K through 3rd grade. I like the fact that it had a range of nonfiction topics to support the Common Core. Even the hardest to please reader was able to find something to interest them and they retained much of what was read.”
What Users Dislike About the App
“The one thing I would like to see added would be additional, age-appropriate online resources to send students to after exploring PebbleGo.”
“Although this website is easy to navigate for young readers, I do find that the level of context does not provide rigor for my higher level readers. It does not provide challenging vocabulary or rigor to the higher readers.”
“The drawback seemed that some of the scientific facts were not updated. Considering that it has access to the internet, I would hope that they would update basic scientific facts in order to keep the app viable.”
“It is an expensive subscription, so I wish certainly wish that it would be cheaper.”
