What Users Love About the App
“Their system couldn’t be easier to use. Our presenters find it very easy, our attendees find it easy to access, and as a company that needs to facilitate both, we find it easy to explain. We added additional educational modules to online webinars, and it again was easy to integrate into our existing systems and create customization.”
“The biggest “plus” about Path is the visually appealing design that makes building courses, managing the platform, and navigating the learning environment such a pleasure. We investigated dozens of LMS platforms and so many were either outdated to look at, clunky to use, or so complicated that even an experienced admin like me had trouble using it. Finding an LMS-like Path that is simple to use yet so powerful and customizable, is a huge win for us!”
“Great solution for virtual event management. After our initial (positive!) experience utilizing Path for hosting our Annual Meeting presentations, we’ve partnered again to begin offering webinars, recordings, and podcasts. This has been a great way for our organization to showcase our events and continue to generate revenue year-long with enduring content. The support staff is friendly, fast, and patient with novice customers.”
“I reviewed several LMS products before choosing BlueSky Path. This was the best that allows for seamless integration from our website (where course registration takes place) to Path (where the content resides) This makes a truly self-service process for our members to complete the course content and then generate their certificate of attendance, saving both time for our members and our staff.”
What Users Dislike About the App
“Due to our integrations, sometimes it takes the support team extra time to review an issue. We have both education and webinars on our platform, and if there is an issue with only one of these, it can be confusing for support who may not realize that the two are not entirely connected.”
“The inability to copy a course is a bit of a pain. The fact that discussions are handled through a third-party plugin and are not native to the LMS makes them look & feel somewhat disconnected from the course environment. The admin panel is not perfect and is based more on product sales than learning, so sometimes workarounds are needed.”
“The navigation is one thing we get questions about all the time. When our members complete a presentation and resources for the lesson, it takes them back to the lesson and it’s not readily apparent how to go to the next lesson. It would be LOVELY to have a “Go To Next Lesson” button!”
“Not very admin friendly. We’ve had issues with adjusting/editing/adding courses on the back end. The system allows you to copy courses to save time, but then you can’t delete anything because it would lead to issues with reporting. The customer support is sometimes helpful, and other times unresponsive.”
“The only limitations I’ve encountered have been related to the association’s AMS (Association Management Software) not being able to take full advantage of the open API integration BlueSky has to offer!”
