What Users Love About the App
“It’s really useful. It translates very clearly. I mean on weverse if you use the translate option it translates into something very confusing for non-korean fans, just take a screenshot of what to translate then go in images.”
“It’s a good app!! I am a beginner in Korean and I am a kpopper too I can’t understand some sentences that artists post and on weverse it is not so clear.. Now with this app I can clearly understand everything. Thank you naver Papago.”
“By far the best of its kind! Papago is the most accurate translation engine have ever used for Korean to English/Japanese. It translates literally anything! You can translate from words to images to even whole websites! It has a very simple design and it is easy to use.”
“Overall, the app is really really good. One of the most useful apps for translations, I’d say. The function to translate websites through the app is really useful for me since I read some comics through websites and often it’s in another language besides English which I can’t understand.”
“This is really the best and most amazing app. So nice. I really love this app. I especially love the feature of Papago mini where we can translate things by just copying that word. So good. Also writing with our hand and translating is really good.”
What Users Dislike About the App
“Please fix some issues. I always have a working internet connection but it always says unable to connect. I had to uninstall and reinstall so the app will work.”
“I downloaded the Korean offline translation, but it’s total gibberish, it doesn’t work except my WiFi is off totally, and it doesn’t give the exact meaning of words I want to translate.”
“There are some bugs when Korean is translated to Chinese(traditional). Worked well before but doesn’t quite work now.”
“This app isn’t improving at all. I tried to translate Korean to English but it’s so bad. Doesn’t know how to translate some words in Korean….so stupid.”
“Ever since there was an update a few months ago, the camera translating function does not work. When trying to translate Korean from a picture random letters and numbers show up. Absolutely useless.”
