Product Review of Nancy Drew: Codes & Clues

This app helps young kids to code, read, and do deep reasoning. The objective is to code their robot puppy and find clues in this mystery-based seeking game. Feedback from educators and parents agree that Nancy Drew: Codes & Clues is a useful app. Everything in the technology sphere involves some form of code; therefore, encouraging this skill in kids, especially females, has become increasingly relevant. The app achieves this by piquing kids’s interest through fun and engaging stories.

“Interactive and fun for kids. Great game to teach your kids something while they play. Nice graphics and runs great. No long loading screens so the kids stay focused.”
“I LOVE THIS APP! I’m just 7 years old and love the app! This is my favorite coding app and one of my favorite apps ever! I love how you have coded in the app! And I LOVE looking for hidden objects too! But most of all, I LOVE how you can give the girls new outfits for every new event!”
“Tech and coding are both really necessary skills to have these days, and this app does a brilliant job of teaching both. Beautiful animation and very interactive!”
“A Beautiful Game. Truly a masterpiece of the ages. A game for all aspiring detectives looking to eat Italian bread shirtless at night whilst playing this adventure with a robot dog named CuckeCheese. 10/10 Still better than JoJo.”

What Users Dislike About the App
“I HATE this game. You only can do one chapter and then you have to pay four dollars. There’s only one mystery and it’s not worth 4 dollars. I would rate it zero stars, but that’s impossible. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!”
“My 7 year old had completed the entire game in under 2 hours. Not worth the money if they don’t add more levels.”
“Every time I play it kicks me out of the fricking game I hate it so much I and my sister are raging because of this we do not like it. We are sorry if this is not happening to you but I don’t know how to do it.”
“There’s a huge bug in this game. It keeps kicking me out after loading! Please fix this issue so kids won’t find it so hard to play.”
“As an educator, I’m disappointed that the “touted” coding is only included in the final bit of each of the chapters. The rest is a dress-up game/hidden object game. This is not a game I would use in a classroom.”
