Product Review of Moment

Moment app was created for childcare school administrators to communicate with parents effectively, manage day-to-day activities, accept online signups, and collect payments. The app helps users build communities around its classes and enhance the communication channel with parents while handling the day-to-day events, staff, and families. The app has sections devoted to parent communication, class management, and online signups.

What Users Love About the App
“Moment does everything i need it to do. It’s easy to use, the logic is actually logical! I use it for communication to my customers and as a registration service. They are always improving and are very responsive to my annoying questions.”
“The customer service was outstanding. They were willing to set up a virtual meeting to discuss my needs. Also, they would go above and beyond to help on their own time. In addition, I love the function of scheduling and parents able to meet other parents.”
“Very accessible, warm, and friendly customer service. They understand their product and also understand our field and do their very best to meet all of our needs.”
“I liked having a modern, private platform to share pictures and updates with our camp families on. It served as a safe place for parents to check out what their child was doing.”
“What I love the most about Moment is that it is user friendly, which is always that I truly appreciate from their end. The app is so easy to use, especially for a parent. Everything is organized and clear for us to do whatever we need to post.”
What Users Dislike About the App
“Impedes communication… Too many clicks from notification to the simple text post. Doesn’t show the message in the notification. Most of the screen is taken up by app graphics. Does not facilitate community discussions.”
“Most infuriating! The switch to Moment from Google listservs is a moment I will always curse. What used to be a quick and easy way to find and convey information has been magically transformed into app-based hell.”
“I often try to upload photos with descriptions and I find later that they never post. For work where breaks come less often than they should, and I don’t get compensated for using my phone data, it’s extra frustrating to waste my time and energy on no product.”
“I would like to be able to add multiple parents to campers on the administrator’s side, instead of parents having to go on and add them. The less our customers have to do, the better.”
“The software is not that widely distributed and it is not in many languages. A payment option would also be cool.”
