Product Review of Lumen5

Lumen5 is designed for video-making beginners. Whether you need to make a commercial for brand promotion, a promotional video for your hot new business, or a video to promote your next hiking meetup or cooking class, you will surely have no problem learning how to use this software. Lots of copyright-free media material is built in for ease-of-use, and the app allows you to add clips you have recorded outside the app. Because the tool is easy to learn, you can focus on the quality of your video instead of the intricacies of the editing software.

Website: https://lumen5.com/

What Users Love About the App

“The best part of lumen5 is that we can make videos simply just by entering the text or thru the blog URL. It makes videos within few minutes based upon the text. It contains lots of media and music to add to the video, which makes the video attractive.”

“Lumen5 is a new-age video maker for the new-age digital marketer. The biggest uniqueness of this tool is that it allows to easily convert text content to video content with a few clicks. You can add your brand logo, fonts, and colors to this video and make it brand customized.”

“The very best factor I like with this particular software is the fact that it’s really easy to create a video clip just by getting into the textual content, also it automobile photos all of the pictures for your video clip primarily based around the textual content material.”

“The best thing I like with this application is that, it is so easy to make a video just entering the text, also it auto pics all the images for the video based on the textual content. In addition, you can also upload the images from the outside and upload them within this application for making the video.”

“It is a very easy tool to create social media videos from Web blog articles or text. I use to create a video preview of my blog posts and share it on social media platforms. I like the AI technology that helps to create videos automatically using relevant motion videos from its library. Ability to add intro, outro, and logo is also a great feature.”

What Users Dislike About the App

“The free version can be a bit clunky and I take a bit of time to edit. It does not always import the text you think would be most useful and some of the free videos are a bit cheesy.”

“I wish I could integrate my own audio or even voiceovers. It’s limited in that you can only use text and stock audio. It is also very expensive compared to what you can do with it. I may switch to another product next year.”

“There are a lot of glitches with the software and it does not allow for customizations. For example, I tried exporting a video numerous times throughout a week and the audio and video were continuously out of sync even after I had reached out to customer support. It also doesn’t allow for customizations like increasing the volume of the music.”

“The costs of Lumen5 are not affordable for all. I think they should waive the price up to a certain amount. I don’t like the fact that sometimes it takes time in rendering the final video.”

“Some of the editing features are limited and lacking. This in a way keeps the production process simple and saves time, yet at times can be a bit frustrating when you’d like more options.”
