This is a cloud-based learning management system that enables learners to access their study material from anywhere in the world. The software is available on Mac, PC, iPhone, and iPad. LearningCloud provides individualized learning options and, with rich multimedia and interactive self-tests, learners can experience a rich learning experience. The self-tests on the platforms are designed to be fun and engaging.

What Users Love About the App

“I finished studying Veterinary Assistant and am now studying Veterinary Assistant 2 at the moment after this I will be doing veterinary assistant 3 I have enjoyed the content and looking forward to finishing these courses so I can move onto the equine courses well done with all the support and information provided Jenny and the team thank you I am really enjoying my courses would recommend this to others.”

What Users Dislike About the App

“I started the floristry course about 6 months ago. Firstly my boxes didn’t arrive and then my flowers didn’t arrive and I had to chase them up myself as they were taking over a month to arrive each time. Read the 270 pages of floristry basics and then had to start the video lessons which were hard to see and hard for a beginner to see and understand. The whole course is extremely old fashioned and most of the arrangements that have to be completed would never need to be arranged in a florist shop today.”

“I wish I never applied for this course if I knew what would happen to me. I cancelled my course on various occasions but I was told to continue it after every call and I’m still getting charged for it no matter how many times I said I wanted to cancel it. Would not recommend it to nobody. Waste of money as I’m paying for nothing due to not doing the course anymore.”

“It’s very unfortunate that they think that when you enquire about multiple courses that you’re not serious about taking them on, also she told me positions for this course are full and she would need to notify tutor its quite rude and receptionist judged me about not being serious about finding a course to do.”

“I have recently been in touch with Learning Cloud because I wanted to sign up for a course. I received a phone call very quickly with a reasonably ‘hard sell’ and a chatty woman, who really didn’t listen when it came down to it. A few days afterwards, I got an email warning me that the course I thought I might try was down to it’s last two placements, and if I didn’t act now, I would miss out. That felt like a warning to me, so I went looking for reviews about the company online. What I have found does not look promising.”

“I have enrolled in a Medical Transcription course but am having no end of difficulty. I receive emails when I ask for help telling me it’s my computer, but I cannot get direct answers. When I asked for a refund because the degree of technical difficulty I’m experiencing shows I’m not coping and this is too advanced for my skill set, they are not interested.”

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
