Product Review of KickBox

Kickbox is a many step thinking game featuring JiJi, the penguin. It is addictive and was created by the MIND Research Institute. The game enables multistep thinking and solves problems without words. The puzzles are easy when you begin and get more challenging as you progress to the next level. The game is suitable for all ages as it only involves placing mirrors and lasers to remove the balls along the penguin’s way.

What Users Love About the App
“I am a middle school math teacher, and my school utilizes the full ST Math program for students. I love the games, because they are both fun and educational. You can see the students being deeply challenged to think about mathematical concepts while they are playing.”
“Recommending this to everyone! Great app, an easily addictive game that helps to pass the long boring hours at work! Great job MIND Research!”
“Really fun and hard! Good stuff here! Create more JiJi apps please! I really like the challenge of these games.”
“This is a fun way to practice spatial relations problem solving. I enjoy playing it as an adult and my child enjoys it too.”
“Amazing! This app is a lot of fun. It’s challenging, but simply presented.”
What Users Dislike About the App
“Game flashes on and off making it impossible to play. Is there a solution to this besides not playing the game?”
“I tried playing this game before giving it to my children. I don’t know if it’s a glitch or intentional but the constant flashing hurt my eyes and gave me a headache and I couldn’t even play it.”
“It is so challenging though that I am completely stumped on two of the final bonus levels. I agree with the other reviewers that some sort of hint or help would make this a five star game.”
“One puzzle took me over four hours to solve. I was frustrated enough that I would have taken a “hint” or “free pass” if offered, but none existed”
“I think the challenge levels may be too difficult for young children, because they could negatively affect a child’s confidence and natural exuberance. These puzzles are a fun challenge for adults, though, and I wonder what age they are meant for. It took me almost 5 hours to complete all levels”
