What Users Love About the App
“What I like best is all of the different functions it has, especially it’s ability to sync with Canvas. This makes grading so easy and lessens the occurrence of error when putting grades in.”
“I like that we can do many things at the same time. I like that i can pull most reports out to Excel to analyze and then import the information back in with any corrections or additions needed.”
“The customization and information available in the reports is astonishing. There hasn’t been a portion that has not exceeded my expectations compared to other company information system.”
“Capable of a lot – manages our payroll, reimbursement, AR, accounting, HR. Easy to download excel sheets – as well as upload excel sheet changes. Captures a lot of information about employees to help inn analytics. Stores a lot of info. Can incorporate sub pay, grants, stipends.”
“Visions offers a variety of products and features to meet nearly any need. The ability to access and export data quickly is most useful. The new web/html design will truly take this product and features to the level it should be.”
What Users Dislike About the App
“I wish that it would combine some aspects of Classic SIS and SIS 360. My administrators are not able to use the new 360 because it doesn’t have the functions they need.”
“Some areas of the system don’t talk to the other – example would be budget imported in from Provisional does not flow through to Payroll. We have to retouch payroll every year to match to budget codes, FTE it would be great if once we roll that the budgeted info would flow through”
“Not very user friendly or intuitive. The tutorials are not easy to understand or translate to work. Information is housed in different places so completing some tasks are not always quick – load time is also kind of slow. As a CMO, we deal with many individual problems that most larger corporate companies don’t face, and this system does help solve some of those, but also still not there yet.”
“Disastrous implementation, inconsistent service, glitchy updates, and an extremely cumbersome user interface make this product less desirable.”
“It took a while to be able to navigate each page confidently. The mobile site is not very user friendly.”
