Product Review of iCell App

This 3-D cell app makes it easier to study the cell. Students are given a good view of cell structures and dynamics for animals, bacteria, and plants. The different levels provide information for learners depending on their grade level and age.

“I think this is a GREAT app. I’m a teacher always looking for apps for my kids to download that connect to our lesson and is free! This is the best by FAR. So glad we can use it!”
“It’s perfect for all ages because of the different levels of complexity and it tells all you need to know. Very helpful for my students to actually get inside a cell and explore.”
What Users Dislike About the App
“This is not so good app. It tells us about some certain things i.e.animal cell, plant cell and bacteria only . I need more information about cells of other organisms.”
“Using this for research is horrible, it’s like the information I need is covered in all this clutter that I don’t need. I don’t recommend this app for anything more than tapping a screen for all eternity.”
“I had to download this for my high school class. It is ok and provides basic information but has a very small amount of cells in the app you can look at. It has very vague information and sometimes is confusing to navigate.”
“It was terrible so boring and bad I hate it so much. No good info missing things and gross.”
“Unless you have bad memory, there is no reason to have iCell downloaded after you’ve read everything, hopefully this changes soon in an update (add more stuff about organelles in the text).”
