Product Review of Edsby

Edsby helps connect educators, parents, and learners on all their devices. Edsby is a highly customizable learning environment for students, similar to an LMS, which gives school districts and regional government agencies ways to analyze the effectiveness of their educational strategies. It’s a unique learning and analytics platform that is useful for two-way communication and engaging whole education communities.

What Users Love About the App
“Data, the teachers, the parents, the admin and the students can always keep up to date on everything that is going on.”
“I love that students can submit their work directly to me via Office365 and their grade book. It is excellent that I can control if parents can message me or not. I also love the ease of use of creating assignments as opposed to in Microsoft Teams.”
“Edsby is the best LMS/Learning platform we have used. It integrates all areas of education into 1 large umbrella and does it very well.”
“I like that I can connect with not only my students but also with parents and colleagues. Edsby enables me to send and receive messages from parents quickly. Additionally, parents can see what we are doing and keep track of their children’s progress in real-time.”
“It’s easy to use with lots of features. It also looks great for clients. Students and parents love that they have so much access to grades and messages.”
What Users Dislike About the App
“I can’t seem to create rubrics. Some documentation is missing.”
“Edsby needs more time to mature into a full fledged LMS. Certain functionalities like discussion boards and other online learning tools are absent.”
“The system lacks some flexibility in the view options for the calender/planner, so it’s challenging to use as it isn’t very flexible.”
“Inability to add people to a conversation. Inability to create a read-only group that can be viewed by people outside of our organization.”
“Interface is not as user-friendly as some other LMS being used by colleagues, and there is no integration of superior features offered by G Classroom”
