Product Review of EdClub
EdClub is a teaching and learning platform that includes a Vocabulary & Spelling product alongside the existing TypingClub. It has a School Edition and an Individual Edition. The School Edition can be used by educators, schools, or districts. Educators can use it with content curated by EdClub or create their own and can track learners’ progress. The Individual Edition has a learner dashboard and customization options. Note that the free version contains ads and limited features. Try the Pro version using the free trial to test-drive all of the features.
Many educators will recognize the TypingClub exercises and games, which are now under the EdClub umbrella. But now there’s also a Vocabulary & Spelling component, and more subjects to come. Each sequence of Common Core-aligned lessons is divided by grade level. Learners begin with a beautifully illustrated course video that delves into word parts, definitions, and usage. After the video, learners answer brief questions or are asked to type in words that were taught. Learners play various games and can earn stars, points, and badges. Accessibility options are available: Videos have closed-captioning, and educators can personalize learning for each learner by selecting font size or activating the voice narration. Plus, there are multilingual options. Learners can use EdClub as a web-based tool or via the learner iPad app that’s free with an educator account.
Overall User Consensus About the App

Curriculum and Instruction
Lessons are available in a variety of languages, and a drop-down of accessibility options allows educators to adjust for learner needs. There’s a help center with resources and a FAQ.
