Product Review of Docebo

This app enables organizations of different sizes to use effective methods for E-Learning. Docebo is available in 25 languages; it is also used to create formal standard multilingual online courses with SCORM that are Tin Can-compliant. Its gaming platform is interactive and provides learners with real scenarios. Docebo can also be used to manage, deliver, and track ILT and WBT activities.

Website: https://www.docebo.com/

What Users Love About the App

“The platform is relatively easy for users to navigate and very customizable. The Pages and Menus function allows admin to easily create appealing home pages for different departments and functions.”

“Their help desk is responsive and their platform is easy to use, fully customizable, and user-friendly. It certainly meets and even exceeds our initial expectations.”

“You can have high customization of the platform that can reach even the highest requirements of a client. We use it as an extended enterprise to meet all our client’s expectations. The mobile app is working fine and meets the learner expectations to reach their training everywhere, every time they need.”

“We love the partnership we have with Docebo. We feel that they value our business and our input/suggestions. The program continues to grow and evolve which has allowed us to grow with it.”

“There are several great features Docebo offers. The customization tool is a great way to make your LMS fit your business needs. In addition, the automation and integration features have saved us days of work.”

“I like the ease of use, gamification, reward shop, and reportings. Excellently customizable. Easy to set up within the own brand (white-labeling). You can upload courses in SCORM or even as a Powerpoint.”

What Users Dislike About the App

“The lack of control over the default settings (course shells, reuse of materials, etc.); the integrations that are actually very light integrations, rather than deep integrations that require much less manual work.”

“In the catalog, when you have completed a course, it is not tagged as done and can be a little bit confusing. This is well managed in the channel and my training functions. I guess they are working to fix it!”

“Back-end is antiquated and overly complex. Custom reporting functions are extremely limited, New Reporting is even worse. Data must be refreshed to get updated information, which impacts admin and is not recommended. File size for videos is limited. Multiple videos can’t be uploaded at once. Global search is confusing. Support is poor, chat wait times are far from what they claim and often they are unable to provide answers and create a support ticket with no established time frame.”

“Much too complicated to set up. TalentLMS has been WAY easier to use, plus much more financially reasonable. We signed for a branded app in hopes of using it in the future, then Covid shut down our industry. Docebo demanded payment despite never doing any of the work to set up the branded app. They were not willing to work with us at all despite the shutdown. I understand that ultimately it may be our fault for believing them and signing for the app. I get that. We’re much happier with TalentLMS.”

“Docebo was a terrible experience. They sold us on it by saying it had a ton of features that it didn’t. They had poor customer service that was nonresponsive. We canceled after one week of not being able to use it due to major limitations, like the video size that is half of the industry standard. After ignoring us for 9 months, they then reach out trying to get our business back. And when that didn’t work, they forwarded it to collections and legal where they breached their own agreement and SLA.”
