What Users Love About the App
“I have to say I downloaded this app just to check out what the game would be like. My son opened the app and started to play. He’s 13 and loved it. In fact, he was late going to bed and then got in trouble. I heard the game noises and that’s how I knew he was still up. I picked up the iPad and started to play. 20 minutes later, I noticed that I was still on the iPad playing the game.. It’s fun and fast. It gives you instant gratification.”
“I normally don’t like quizzes and trivia because after a few times of playing it normally either becomes no challenge or is way to hard to keep you interested. Here it is balanced, though. It keeps you hooked all the way through. Plus, there are large selections of topics even in the free mode. If you want more, you can pay a small price for tons more—you pay about as much is it would cost you for a cup of joe at Starbucks. However, this game won’t only keep you awake like coffee will, it will even make you smarter!”
“This is a really cool game that will make you rack your brains for the answers. You can win coins the faster you answer the questions and you can retake the same quiz after you have finished to try and improve your score to get more coins. I would like to see it in landscape mode on the iPad instead of portrait only. Other than that, it is a great brain cracker. If your a fan of brain puzzlers, then this game is for you!”
“This is an awesome quiz centered around not so easy topics with not so easy questions. It’s beaten me more than a few times. All kinds of topics. You want to download and play this as much as possible and you are learning so much while having fun. And then you can challenge anybody that you want to if they have the guts to accept—my wife didn’t. Good luck and enjoy this one.”
“This is a great app. I took quizzes on science and used it to help me study. But it’s not all just one topic, it’s lots of topics. And if you are a Disney fan, like me, they have a quiz just for you.. I would recommend this app for anyone who likes fun!”
What Users Dislike About the App
“It is very creative and has many different topics you can choose from. My only complaint: after you play once, it givesthe same questions when you play it again. I would love it if you guys could add some more questions! Thanks!”
“It could be a learning game, but it’s just not. If you don’t know the correct answer, you will never find out unless you play the game over and over and use the process of elimination. Twenty questions each time. It’s also too fast. You can’t possibly read your 4 answer choices in the time allotted.”
“I would give this game ten stars if I could have the answers, perhaps at the end. I can only Google. Too bad, too frustrating! I hope someone reads this and fixes it! Great idea and questions, though. I love the concept.”
“The games are really good. DK makes good stuff, there are only a couple of problems. Sometimes, the question doesn’t have the picture that goes with it when you need it for the answer. And they need a lot MORE games, especially since I have paid for them. Trivia hounds tend to burn through quizzes quickly. Otherwise, well made and challenging. DK has made a ton of fantastic reference books. I think they could really bump it up to 4 1/2 stars as is. Word of warning: buying extra coins will NOT get you extra games! UPDATE: Still need more games!”
“DK Quiz is in severe need of an update. Easy quizzes are still difficult to complete, and I don’t like how an already played quiz gives you no coins if you improve on it.”
“This would have been 5 stars but I find that a lot of the questions are geared toward British knowledge (I have no clue who adrian mole is). Also, I find the fact checkers need to work a little harder. Among other things. A question will ask “What is this” in reference to, I’m assuming, a picture—but no picture is provided. And if you do lucky dip, you may be unlucky because some quizzes have follow-up questions on the same topic. Overall, though, I love playing through the quizzes but wish the developer spent more attention to details.”
