Product Review of Daniel Tiger’s Grr-ific Feelings

This is a social and emotional intelligence app useful in early childhood. Some kids are familiar with Daniel Tiger, especially if they have watched the PBS series. The app includes Trolley, which kids can swing on to land on a mini-game; Sing-alongs with over 18 songs to choose from, and Photo Booth where kids mirror the expressions on Daniel’s face by tapping the “feeling face” icon. More soothing activities are prescribed in this game.

What Users Dislike About the App
“I hate it 😡 When I was 4-5 I loved this game. But now I’m 8-9 years old right now. There are a few different problems 🤷♀️ 1. I tried to do the photo both game 📷 but it didn’t show my face!”
“Bugs make it useless. The drawing portion of the game is riddled with bugs. Each time you press down a diagonal line appears across the screen and with no way to undo the mistake (bug) it ruins the drawing your child is trying to draw.”
“Broken Photo booth. iPad is running iOS 12 and every time we open the feelings photo booth, the app shuts down suddenly.”
“Every time we try to open the “feelings photo booth” the app quits. All permissions for savings photos were granted, both in the general iPad settings and in the app.”
“Crashes. We love this app, but it constantly crashes. Completely useless.”
