Spread the love

This platform appeals to kids by taking advantage of their attraction for brightly colored objects and domestic animals. These are integrated into the problem-solving steps so that kids learn to code at an early age.

Website: https://codespark.com/

What Users Love About the App

“Kids love it! They build games stories and worlds. They can play coding games against each other or be on the same team(s). They are so excited to show me their progress. I have replaced some screen time with Codespark and they are eager to go.”

“It’s a good game for my kids. They are doing good and having fun with it. I think you should get it for your kid.”

“All my kids love this app! My autistic son plays it the most and loves creating his own games.”

“Hi! I used to have this game a long time ago, and I remember being so addicted to the fun levels. This game made up most of my memories. It’s sad I can’t play anymore, especially now that I want to be in the graphics design and game-making industry. I’m now 13, but I wish the game the best. Thank you for the great years I spent playing it.”

“I am a K-5 Technology/STEM teacher and this is by far my students’ favorite coding game! It is a great game to learn the fundamentals of coding, and the older kids also enjoy it. They love the characters and the challenges. There are always new updates to keep the kids wanting to come back. It promotes critical thinking and creative problem-solving! The kids enjoy it so much they don’t even realize they are learning!”

“My 4-year-old son can’t get enough of this app. He loves to make a game and play it. I let him develop his own curiosity. I am amazed that the mini-games are actually teaching the concepts of coding, including repetition through mistakes. I have my own profile so I can understand things when teaching my son. I found out the depth of coding in this app for making a game and a story. I initially had an issue, but Sandra (a team member) helped me get through the problem with a lot of patience.”

“This is awesome, I love it. In school, we use Codespark every month. Right now, we only use it in math, and I got an A+ thanks to it. I wish I could use it at home. It is a super cool game.”

What Users Dislike About the App

“After the seven-day trial, I have been unable to cancel my subscription. For four months straight my account has been debited. I get the elaborate merry-go-round any time I try to unsubscribe. Tell me precisely how to unsubscribe please!”

“I hate this so much. I don’t hate the app; I hate the login process. When I enter my email, it says it is already in use. I try it again and it then tells me to check my spelling and if I have the right information entered. It’s annoying. I would really like for that huge issue to be fixed. Other people probably have this problem, too.”

“Hi, I am 11. I really like reviewing games like these. I really enjoy playing this game, the layout is amazing. Right now, I have a monthly subscription. Why does the annual subscription have to cost a lot? I mean, I understand if you need to make the price higher if it’s yearly, but why 1 million? Why can’t it be cheaper? In my opinion, it’s overpriced. It’s good, though.”

“I’m sure the app itself is pretty good based on some reviews, ads, and videos, but not all of us can pay 250 monthly.”

“I made an account and it’s forcing me to start a free trial. I know it’s free, but it will then make me purchase it after a month. My parents will get angry if I buy something without their permission. I used their credit card for this. Can you please add a “no” button for purchases? It would be nice to have for the people who don’t want their parents to get angry. Thanks!”

“It’s so hard for me to log in, it messes with the email and password. I’m just 9 years old and my mom doesn’t know how to fix the problem. Can you please fix it? This is annoying.”
