Product Review of Class Manager

Spread the love

This simple, affordable class administration software handles all aspects of class management. Teachers can use this app to create and manage class schedules, send automatic invoices, and send messages over different mediums from any Internet-enabled device. Available for a monthly fee of £25.

Website: https://classmanager.com/

What Users Love About the App

“Love this app! It is so easy to use. You can load all your assignments for the semester, put in test dates, mark assignments complete, put in due dates, put in your class schedule, and divide homework by class or day. You won’t forget about your homework or tests ever again! It is so helpful, it is a must-have for students of any level. I think this would be especially helpful for high school students because it puts your homework in priority of due date. No thinking necessary! Works great for my college homework, too. I can divide homework between lectures and labs, different classes, even put pictures in to tell me what kind of homework it is.”

“I am currently an undergrad senior and this year is super hectic since I am applying to grad school, but this app helps me so much. Since I have so much on my mind this helps me keep track of everything and makes me feel like I can relax a little bit. I love that it has reminders so you don’t even have to open the app to know. I do wish it was color-coded per class and that it had an option for online classes. Overall, awesome! Two thumbs up!”

“This is a great application for students. It has a simple user interface that allows students to easily view what classes they have next, and what assignments are due. Moreover, the ability to attach a location for each class makes it easy for college students, like myself, to see which building we need to go to for our next class.”

“I don’t use it for my assignments because I use a planner, but I’m an RA and a freshman orientation leader and I recommend it to all college students. It is the only free app that I have found that successfully keeps your schedule organized. It tells you when your class is, what days of the week, what time it is, where it’s located, who your professor is, and what type of class it is (lecture, lab, etc. ). I adore it.”

“An easy to use app that allows you to input your classes, the buildings and rooms in which they are located, the professor’s name and contact info, hours, etc., and then automatically makes you a schedule! It also lets you record what assignments you need to do for each course along with the due date and a priority indicator. Oh, and it gives your reminders!”

What Users Dislike About the App

“It was an incredible app, but it won’t go into December for some reason. Fix that and it’s five stars.”

“Half of the features require the pro version of the app, and it crashes all the time. Just use a Google Calendar.”

“I am not sure what everyone else is talking about. The app isn’t really self–explanatory going to their website doesn’t clear much up. The app gives you three options of schedules: time, periods, and block. If you make a whole schedule on one and want to change it, the schedule will be deleted, and you’ll have to start over. What I found confusing was when you title a class, you can’t change it later. If the app had a forum or some link you can go to for help with navigation, it would have made it better.”

“It helps a lot to keep my classes and assignments organized, but I have 2 gripes about it. 1) The assignments are not organized by time on the “Assignments” tab. 2) You can only see a single line of the description of an assignment at a time. It would be great if the description could be seen as a whole, for both editing and viewing an assignment.”

“This would be a PERFECT app if it didn’t have all those major glitches. As you are looking at your assignments in list mode and scroll up and down, they often change the times and dates assignments are due. For example, if I had a test scheduled for February 11th, then scroll down and back up, it might now be scheduled on February 1st. You click on the assignment and still say the original date, but it causes confusion.”

“I would like more icons and the ability to change the schedule when a class is changed. I have a few Friday classes but it keeps telling me the wrong dates. When my clinical dates change, I enter them, but it just pops up saying the time is overlapping. I’m kind of frustrated with that. Otherwise, the app is okay.”
