Product Review of Child Care Pro

This software can be used to manage childcare centers and daycare facilities. It handles functions such as accounting, billing, subsidy, records, and more. It has gained some popularity, especially among childcare facilities in Canada and is useful for both small and large-scale operations. Using this platform, parents can register their kids, pay fees, and receive invoices from any location.

What Users Love About the App
“We have been using Child Care Pro for nearly 2 years and are very happy with the product. We previously used a US-based software that was in no way helpful with Canadian taxation, Childcare Subsidy, etc. We get top-notch service from Child Care Pro, with very quick responses to any issues we may have. We anticipate staying with them for many years as they meet the needs of our very large Childcare Centre (250+ registered) in scheduling, billing, and data management. I would highly recommend Child Care Pro to anyone who wants to be assured of accurate management of your data and in turn the safety of the children entrusted to your care.”
“We can generate/email invoices and track payments. It is great for allergy reports, contact lists, and other data reports for children. Also, it has an easy way to email payment receipts and annual tax receipts. I particularly like the communication feature to email families individually, as a whole, or a variety of subgroups.”
“The pros of Child Care Pro is that it is great for allergy reports and provides an easy way to email payment receipts. You can email families separately or in groups.”
“I love that I can get updates from my child’s daycare about when he eats, has a diaper change, how long he naps, and activities he is participating in throughout the day.”
What Users Dislike About the App
“I really hate when I don’t get updates and the daycare staff blames it on IT issues. Not sure if it is directly related to the app or an internet/user error.”
“You cannot export data into accounting programs such as Sage or QuickBooks, everything has to be entered manually. You cannot produce specific reports needed for attendance. Again, everything must be produced manually. There seem to be more and more glitches as we continue to use the system.”
