What Users Love About the App
“Usability. I like its ease of use. It has many configuration options that facilitate its adaptation to different training interests and the teaching-learning process.”
“Simplicity. It has a lot of tools and fast course development. Good look and feel with the UI.”
“It offers a huge set of features to organize students in classes, and work with sessions or single courses.”
“It is very easy to use and has a very simple learning curve. The administrator has very powerful and simple to use tools at their disposal.”
“What I like the most about Chamilo is the philosophy behind the LMS. The people who work promoting free software are really committed to the ideal and that’s pretty contagious.”
“I like how easy it is to use it, the intuitive interface, and that you can use mobile devices to interact with other users.”
What Users Dislike About the App
“I have had some difficulties in integrating it with the student management systems of my University. Although, it is fair to recognize that these difficulties must be shared between Chamilo and our management systems.”
“I think the support must improve or at least update the manuals constantly for less experienced users. I think that the documentation, though not always up-to-date, guides you very well to where you should go.”
“It is slow in uploading files and lacks integration with its own cloud. There should be an integration of qualifications per country to take the history of a student since they first enter school.”
“The user support system needs to be improved. They only have support for clients that hire payment service, but for the rest of the users of Chamilo, they only have an incident platform that takes months, in some cases, to respond to a query.”
