What Users Love About the App
“We use the Common Application for all of our undergraduate student applications and also use CashNet to handle our deposits. Whenever there has been an issue, which is rare, CashNet support is quick to fix the issue. They are also very proactive in making us aware of when there will be an outage and when that outage is complete. It’s nice to have something reliable and autonomous in such a tumultuous professional setting.”
“There’s a tiny bit of hope that, if you can use this software in the “simplest” scenario possible with old equipment, you might have a great experience with CashNet. The front-end users like this much more than our previous software–that is when it’s not erroring out and causing them to do the “three daily reboots” as they call it.”
“What I like most about CashNet is that I’m able to easily rectify a mistake that my cashiers have made. In other workplaces, it was a bigger effort to reverse transactions and to balance at the end of a shift. CashNet has a very simple process and gives access to several different reports that break down the gains and losses.”
“In 2013, when I studied at UCLA, a form of CashNet was implemented on our school website/portal. CashNet is easy to use for those making payments. I have never had issues with paying for tuition or other costs while studying in college. Adding my payment accounts was never an issue either, and the site always felt secure.”
“When I was working in college, we used this software. It offers a great, user-friendly interface to handle the deposits made by students. There are constant updates on the backend but the support staff is good and they notify well in advance before the deployment.”
What Users Dislike About the App
“Overall, I’m satisfied with the product. If I had to pinpoint one of the least attractive features, then I would bring up the fact that there are constant updates during business hours. Making the teamwork on outages in weekends or non-business hours would be helpful.”
“It crashes at least once a week. The only upside is that Customer Support is very helpful in getting it back up.”
“What I like least is the user interface. It seems outdated. It seems to be lacking in UI and intuition in usability.”
“What I like least about this program is that there are a number of features that are not very organized, or aesthetic, on the website. It looks too ‘messy’ at times.”
“It has an outage of some sort at least once every other week during business hours. It shuts down our entire cashiering process when we use it to conduct payment services to students.”
