Product Review of Buttons and Scissors

This color-matching game lets you link matching colors of buttons on a piece of denim in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal plane. Selected buttons of the same color are cut off using a pair of scissors. Cut off all the buttons on the denim to complete the level as fast as you can and get a good score.

What Users Love About the App
“I have no words to describe this game. It is a must-have for anyone who loves strategy, color, and fun. Who doesn’t love fun? When I can’t sleep and can’t find any relaxing apps, this is the most calming and reassuring one. It takes my mind off things and tires my eyes. The levels are HARD! After you get started, however, you’ll become addicted. Honestly, while browsing my app, you realize there is an end to the fun you can have on some apps. With this app, however, I find myself playing without being able to stop. With an app like this, there are endless possibilities. Thank you so much for this app. For all of you who don’t like Buttons and Scissors, shame on you.”
“I love this game! It’s kind of like a puzzle; some are easy and some get me stuck on it for a minute until I come back with a different way to solve it. I feel like it is good exercise for the brain—it works out different strategies, but not so much that it causes a headache. It is just the right amount! It’s a great little game to play when you have a few minutes to kill. The graphics are large and colorful, and the layout is basic. It’s not complicated at all. I tire of games easily and delete them, but not this one! I’ve had it for a long time and will never delete it. It’s a keeper!”
“I dislike timed games because my thinking always gets muddled. Because of this, I previously rated the game 4 stars. Tonight, however, I discovered I can replay each game! That means I can ignore the timing and replay for a shorter interval/better score! I now find that the timing doesn’t affect me nearly as much because I know I can always play again.”
“At first, I thought the game was too simple. When I got to the 7 X 7 puzzles, however, I changed my mind! Buttons and Scissors is great, addictive, challenging, and fun!”
“Hours of diversion, with a couple of stumpers that will perplex. One board, in particular, kept me guessing for over a week. Thumbs up.”
“I don’t do a lot of reviews but saw this app had 4 stars and decided to try and correct the injustice. This game is fun and challenging and only 5 stars apply here. Now, back to my game!”
What Users Dislike About the App
“My friend told me about this game, so I tried it. It has just been a day and I’ve already completed two 5x5s and the first 6×6. I couldn’t play the game for a day and when I opened it again, it had restarted! It was on the tutorial screen. I lost everything. Why? I’ve had to replay it. All 10 levels. Again, I didn’t play for a day and lost the process once more. Am I the only one experiencing this? I would have been 5 stars from me if it didn’t lose those levels.”
“If you are like me, and want to play through the games to see how many you can complete, this app is not for you. Twice now, I have completed all levels up to 6×6, and half of the 7×7’s, when the app crashes and takes me back to 5×5. It is incredibly frustrating!”
“I have had this game for 3 months and loved it! But one day when I logged on, the whole game had restarted. I started 7×7 just that morning and when I got on later all my progress was gone. If you are someone who likes having your progress kept, don’t get this game. Losing your progress will probably happen to you. It would have otherwise gotten 5 stars from me.”
“I downloaded the 600 extra levels (I NEVER pay for apps, so yeah, it’s that fun), but once I exited out and came back later all my progress was done. Prior and new levels included. I got to play them again, but I’m not sure I wanted to completely redo it that way. Also, it would be nice if it says whether you beat your highest score when you repeat a level. That might be cool.”
