What Users Love About the App
“This helps me so much. My teacher makes me do Edgenuity, which isn’t even teaching me in the first place, but Brainly gets me through all the annoying tests I don’t want to do.”
“Brainly is a wonderful site to get help on any homework that you need. There is a wonderful community who answers your questions punctually and a community of moderators that keep the site safe for all users.”
“I have been a user of Brainly for about ten months now. In that time, I have come to really enjoy it. Brainly is an amazing website that has allowed me to learn through helping others. In addition, the Brainly community has helped me countless times with homework I have struggled with and the answers I received were always explained well and step-by-step. This has allowed me to better understand the topics for future use. Overall, I would highly recommend Brainly to those that may need help with homework.”
“Brainly really helps clear up confusion in regards to my studies. I have run across a few problems that I had trouble with and couldn’t contact my teacher for help. The people that helped me gave detailed explanations when needed. Overall, Brainly is a really positive community!”
“Brainly is a one of a kind website. I’ve been a user for over a year now, and I’ve never had any problems with the site. I’ve probably received over 100 answers with explanations to my hardest homework problems. I highly recommend it.”
What Users Dislike About the App
“Seriously, this is honestly pathetic. The subscription clearly said $2/mo but charged me $24. Why the hell would it be an option to pick $2/mo if you’re just going to charge me for a year’s subscription anyway? The site is honestly awful too, the only answers you’ll get are answers from children answering nonsensically.”
“Dumb as dumb can be. Please. It’s fine if we don’t get an answer but many are being exposed to vulgar words and there are so many links. Brainly has no brains.”
“This is a stupid website. Every time I ask a legitimate question, some 13-year-old answers it with some nonsense. There is no moderation on this site. One more thing, half of the questions are spammed with links for things like escort companies! How can this claim be an educational site?”
“Brainly has a lot of bots answering with bit.ly links. Nothing is done about this. There is also literally no incentive or reason to actually answer people’s questions since you gain nothing but meaningless points that make you rank up so you can unlock… a new title? That’s it? There needs to be a lot of work done on Brainly. I paid for a subscription since it was actually acceptable, but now with the bit.ly bots who delete their answers so you can’t even report them the site is unusable. You have to pay to see answers or watch ads, but for answering questions you literally get nothing. It’s a completely one-sided equation. It’s a good concept but it needs more incentive and a lot more maintenance. I’m paying for this service and they can’t even afford some bot protection.”
“The moderators delete correct answers but don’t delete the wrong ones. There are better platforms, like Toppr or Doubtnut.”
“Brainly seems great when you first start out. Then, once you see 5 answers, it asks you to pay ACTUAL MONEY to look at answers. The site is flooded with bots, it reeks of advertisements, and I actually encountered a porn ad on this site! What the hell? I thought this was for kids!”
