Product Review of Bloom by Megalearn

Has your kid ever asked why trees produce sweet fruits or how plants give birth? Bloom teaches your kid the various methods that plants use to propagate their seed. The game teaches three methods of propagation and the plants that use them. Kids also learn plant anatomy, physiology, and the names of common plants. There are no ads or in-app purchases.

What Users Love About the App
“I have to agree with the other ratings, there is not enough content for what I’d expect for the price. However, the subject is novel and what’s done is well executed and beautiful. I would happily give five stars if there were more seeds from more types of plants. My daughter (4 1/2) loves the ones already done, and has never showed much interest in plants before this, so that’s a win. I have to agree with the other rating that a 6-8 year old would probably get bored with this. It is perfect for preschoolers though. Very calm and beautiful execution. Please keep adding new plants!”
“This app is very child friendly, with no possible way to connect to the internet and no other hidden hazards for little fingers to find.”
What Users Dislike About the App
“I have to commend this app on the beautiful graphics. However, the app is very light on activity and content for something that costs $4.99. My son finished it in 5 minutes flat and there was nothing else to do, there’s only 3 activities! I don’t mind spending money on apps but this felt like we were short-sold.”
“At $4.99, this app is somewhat pricy. Most children will not return to it again and again as a favorite because there will be no new surprises or information waiting for them. It takes about five or ten minutes to go all the way through the app’s content, and the interactions, while engaging, are not fun enough to bring children back again and again on their own. In other words, it’s a very high-quality app, but is likely to have little staying power in a child’s collection.”
“This app is beautiful but not worth $4.99. Are you kidding me? My daughter finished it in 5 mins. Made for ages 6-8? That is not a truth. I hope that the “update” adds more activity or I will feel totally jipped.”
