Product Review of Avokiddo ABC Ride

This game teaches kids to identify letters, read, and write using many alphabetically arranged, letter-based tasks. Each task starts with an alliterative poem that helps learners identify a letter. Kids can focus on specific letters or work with different letters in alphabetical order. They can also let their companions, Beck and Bo, set the pace. Using a three-second lock feature, educators and parents can modify the settings for the kids.

What Users Love About the App
“This game is neat. You pull the little bike across the screen and you do little games while doing it. Easy enough for my 2 year old to do. Keeps my kids occupied for hours!”
“My daughter is 2 1/2 and LOVES this game (as well as the other 2 Avokiddo apps that we’ve found). It’s educational and a great distraction when we’ve needed one.”
“This is another fantastic app by avokiddo. My 3 yr old is learning her letters and loves this app. I love that the letters are reinforced several different ways. My daughter loves moving the bike along the path and doing the activities for each letter.”
“My 4 year old daughter loves this game and is learning at same time. She is repeating what is said and learning new words. well worth the price.”
“My boys LOVE this game and all things from Avokiddo. It’s so interactive and fun they don’t even notice they’re learning!”
What Users Dislike About the App
“I was a little bummed to find out there is only 26 words my child can learn and no others. I hope the game makers add more content and multiples for A etc instead of just apricot.”
“My son can go thru this in one sitting, so it would be great if the app is updated with new words for each letter for variety.”
“On the home screen it pops up a “more apps” button that inevitably grabs the child’s attention, who taps on it to see what’s there. That button leads to an ad screen promoting more of the developer apps. This is unacceptable in a paid app for children.”
“Only downside is it’s American so pronunciations on certain words aren’t familiar.”
“Games are purposefully not explained beyond their accompanying alliterative introduction.”
