Product Review of 3D Brain3DC

A user-friendly app for building 3-D models. Because of its complexity, CAD is not accessible to most people. The 3DC app offers an alternative solution that uses basic shapes, such as cubes and spheres, to create complex 3-D models. All these can be created by moving, resizing, and rotating these shapes to build whatever object the user wants. Models can be downloaded from an in-app gallery.

What Users Love About the App
“My go-to 3-D modeling tool. This app is awesome! The ability to export your projects for editing on other apps is a rare feature. I’m looking forward to the future updates, specifically user fonts and bending. 3-D Text lends itself really well to AR. One issue when cutting, however, is that it produces and leaves fragments when adding objects to previously saved models. No biggie, the app is still awesome.”
“A nice app. I used it easily and created so many of my desired things in it. I am glad that they also are going to add an update in which we can create animations.”
“Incredible 3-D app. This is the best app on a mobile I can find that helps me to create 3-D images to illustrate an idea or concept. If you spend some time to understand it, it is so easy and intuitive. I can save the file, then modify and reload to continue where I left off. Thank you very much.”
“Beautifully simplistic, learned the very simple controls in half a minute. The Ui feels smooth and minimalistic. I would definitely recommend to anyone with a desire to create 3-D models, simple or complex :D”
“It is very simple to use and I think it’s the most ideal 3-D modeling app out there. I like that it has limits, it makes it easier to use while still getting decent outcomes.”
What Users Dislike About the App
“I like this app because it’s simple, but there’s a problem. Every time I make another model after the last one it bugs! It keeps happening, and I can’t even make a model anymore. Please fix this bug!”
“The only thing missing is a measuring tool, at least a tape measure, to tell distance apart. Morph tools might be nice, too. The ability to expand multiple sides at once so you can keep sides the same would also be nice. It does, however, allow really easy movement and resizing. All and all, this a solid program. It just needs a few things to be the best.”
“This is a fantastic app for 3-D modeling. Here are just a few suggestions; I would like a “bend” tool so it can be possible to make a flat plane into a bowl, or a stick into a hook with ease; I’d also like a “mirror” tool that flips the selected part so we can make perfectly symmetrical models; I would also like to have better lighting so we can see better overall and be able to move the lighting around or add more.”
“Well, I find that this app could be useful but not for me. First off, you can’t color things. The background is the same as the default color for blocks and other items. There isn’t a tutorial either. It just puts you in a place with a cube, blender of sorts, and nothing else. The app doesn’t even tell you how to use things, no little hints or anything.”
“I couldn’t find the transparency function and got fed up trying to do so. Isn’t it logical to assume that a 3-D model program should at the very least have a transparency option? The button that looked like that function did not apply any transparency. I got fed up trying very early on and flipped my lid, then I uninstalled the app.”
