Product Review: Corsair One Pro i300 (2025 Edition)

Introduction

Corsair has long been known for its high-quality PC components, and with the One Pro i300 (2025 Edition), they continue to prove they can build exceptional complete systems as well. Released in March 2025, this compact powerhouse aims to deliver top-tier performance in a form factor that can easily fit on a desk or in a living room entertainment center.

Design and Form Factor

The Corsair One Pro i300 maintains the sleek, cylindrical design of its predecessors, but with subtle refinements. Standing at just 20 inches tall and with a base of 6.9 x 7.9 inches, it’s remarkably compact for the power it contains. The exterior features a matte black finish with programmable RGB lighting strips that can be customized through Corsair’s iCUE software. The small footprint and understated design make it equally at home in a professional office or a gaming setup.

Hardware Specifications

Despite its small size, the One Pro i300 packs a serious punch. It’s powered by Intel’s 15th Gen Core i9-15900K processor, paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 (16GB GDDR7). The system comes with 64GB of DDR6 RAM running at 6400MHz, and storage is handled by a 2TB NVMe SSD utilizing PCIe Gen 5, along with a 4TB 2.5-inch SATA SSD for additional storage.

Performance

In our benchmarks, the Corsair One Pro i300 (2025 Edition) delivered impressive results across the board. In gaming tests at 4K resolution with maximum settings, it consistently delivered frame rates above 100 fps in even the most demanding titles. While it may not quite match the performance of larger systems with more powerful GPUs, the difference is minimal in most real-world scenarios. Content creation tasks like video editing and 3D rendering also showed excellent performance, making this a viable option for professionals who need a compact workstation.

Cooling Solution

One of the most impressive aspects of the One Pro i300 is its cooling system. Corsair has refined their patented convection-assisted liquid cooling system, which now features separate loops for the CPU and GPU. This allows for efficient heat dissipation without the noise typically associated with high-performance systems. Even under full load, the system remains surprisingly quiet, with noise levels rarely exceeding 30 dBA.

Upgradability

While the compact nature of the One Pro i300 does limit upgradability compared to traditional towers, Corsair has made efforts to keep the system as user-serviceable as possible. The side panels can be removed to access the components, and while upgrading the GPU or CPU would be challenging, users can easily upgrade the RAM and storage drives.

Connectivity

Despite its small size, the One Pro i300 doesn’t skimp on connectivity options. It features Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 for wireless connections, while the rear I/O panel offers a good selection of ports including multiple Thunderbolt 5 ports, USB 4.0, and HDMI 3.0. The front of the unit provides easy access to USB-C and USB-A ports, as well as a headphone jack.

Software and Extras

Corsair’s iCUE software serves as the central hub for system control, offering options for RGB lighting customization, fan control, and system monitoring. New for the 2025 edition is the integration of Corsair’s AI Performance Boost, which uses machine learning to optimize system performance based on your usage patterns and thermal conditions.

Power Efficiency

One often overlooked aspect of the One Pro i300 is its power efficiency. Despite its high-performance components, the system’s custom design and efficient cooling allow it to draw less power than many comparable systems. This not only reduces electricity costs but also means the system produces less heat and noise over time.

Conclusion

The Corsair One Pro i300 (2025 Edition) is a remarkable achievement in compact gaming PC design. It offers performance that rivals much larger systems in a form factor that can fit almost anywhere. While the price is premium and upgradability is somewhat limited, the combination of power, efficiency, and quiet operation make it an excellent choice for those who need a high-performance system without the bulk of a traditional tower. Whether you’re a gamer with limited space, a content creator who needs a powerful yet portable workstation, or simply someone who appreciates elegant design, the Corsair One Pro i300 (2025 Edition) is a compelling option that doesn’t compromise on performance.
